sprayer makes

    was thinking of buyin a handy sprayer to spray docks nettles thistles burn off grass ect.. a handy one around 400l mayybe. looking into makes such as gaysa and jarmet as hardi are quite expensive. does anyone know much about these makes?

    Hi Waddy, there was a thread about this a few weeks back, may be off some help to you.

    I have a jarmet from whites in portadown. great job and no problems with it since i got it. Dont get the powder painted one though - galvanised much better job. Worked out roughly 1K with a hand lance which is handy for under the fence for a 400L one delivered.

    I see Johnsons in Longford advertising cheap sprayers now too. Might be worth a call but to be honest, cant fault the Jarmet at all.

    thank you.ya sounds fairly ok so. d likes of hardi are expensive for grassland farmers not doing much spraying. its either a secondhand hardi or else jarmet hard to bate a new yoke though now

    i have a bargam. great job- pump can suck out of the drinkers when spraying paddocks
