Nissan X trail...any opinions...petrol model?

Anyone got experience of the 2 litre petrol model, 2003. Took one for a spin, nice machine, high spec with all the gadgets. 2 litre petrol though, cant be too cheap to run. Anyone had one, are they reliable.
