What should I expect

I'm looking to replace my old diesel with a 2007+ diesel that's cheap to tax (300 or less) with excellent fuel economy, 50mpg+ extra urban, not too worried about urban.

When buying off a SIMI dealer what should I expect on a 2008 car with 50000-100000 miles on it in terms of warranty?

Second question, any reason not to buy a new Kia Cee'd? Should I expect anything off the list price?

I've heard some horror stories about diesel repair costs and when replacing my car for newer I want to build some insurance into it in terms of warranty. You can't beat the Kia warranty.

Number 1 reason would be the Toyota Auris Sr180 diesel exists!!

I'm not sure about the warranties likely to be given but in terms of cheap tax, it's really cars registered after July 2008 that will be cheap. Before that your paying based on engine size, after that the rate is based on the car's CO2 emissions, this is where you'll get your tax for ≤€302.
