I know this is an April Fool but...
Shannon's runway can handle an A380. But I presume the aircraft stands and taxiways etc. can't? Dublin outright couldn't land one yes? Not much fear of any scheduled A380s at Shannon for a long time I reckon, especially with recent traffic levels.

I'd say the only A380 traffic Shannon will ever see is Emergencies.

An A380 can land at either Shannon or Dublin. I think it was John Leahy an executive at Airbus said that in an emergency either airport can land an A380. Getting it out is another issue but in an emergency all that is important is getting it down worry about that later.
Cork was able to handle a full B747-400 emergency.
