Does anyone else feel fed up of doing and saying the right thing when it comes to our current financial situation. . . . I'm just taking this moment to say '' i'm sick of my mortgage and my bills and my sensible spending and i'd just fcuking love to spend it on some clothes or some decent camera.''

I went 20e in overdraft today to get a delicious chicken burito, a dairy milk, and a herbal tea with a scone and butter for my lunch, topped off with a muller rice versus my packed sambo and crisps. Totally worth it.

I'd just like to know I had a few spare quid to spend! Even if I didn't spend it I would feel so much better knowing I could if I wanted to! Sick of being broke:mad:

that's exactly it! It's not that i want to spend but knowing there's a few bob there would be a welcomed reassurance

Disposable income is such an odd term. It makes it sound like you're chucking money in the bin rather than spending it on cool things like snakes & fluffy dice for the car.

snakes & fluffy dice for the car.

Interesting combo, remind me not to accept a lift

I want to be able to buy a bottle of 7up without feeling immense guilt.

I'm on a low income yet I manage to save €500/month easily. What the hell do you do with your money?

you're right. . There's no difference. . . I just felt an urge to throw it out there to see who's feeling a bit of guilt for those purchases that used to be so easily made. . I'm saving too but as i said, i'd love to have enough to relax and buy things i'd enjoy rather than things i need. . . I'm thinking of getting rid of sky. . It's full of repeats although i'm going to miss sky+

If they ask you that then drag them over the counter by the neck and just tell them politely...

"I fcuking own you and this whole stinkin place so give me my money" :p

This is assuming your not on the dole - in which case they will tell you to fcuk off first:(

I'd just like to have any income

today is my last day before I'm made redundant having been replaced by cheaper Filipino slaves.

i will be like the existing 14.7% will sadly be dependant on the tax payer.

The likelihood of finding a new job looks grim :(

Really? I think it might actually be called Reality and Worrying:mad: I dont think that anyone losing their job in today's climate could be accused of self-pity and wallowing! Lucky for you if you can afford to see it that way!

Yeah every month I get my meagre pay and I think to myself oh right, I'll buy that cool sat nav with the built in camera or perhaps that power amp i have had my eye on so that i can play my piano not though my headphones any more but then I have to pay a stupid ass dentist bill, tax the car, get heating oil or some other shit that ruins it until next month, when the cycle begins all over again...

Still, at least I have a job I suppose.
