    Hey Guys

Anyone have experience of these car kits? just got a car for wife and one installed but have a connection on it for Nokia, I need to get one for a iphone 2/3. I have always used the Parrot kits and never seen these before. Its a UK import where they seem to use alot. On the back of the Nokia insert it says Take&talk ZAR4 DSP.

Any idea where I could get the iphone connection? Bury seem to do bluetooth version but this is not bluetooth.

Also a side one, there is a UK tax disk in car with cable connected into the front dash, I guess I can just cut this off?

    Thanks

Yeah, I got one of them. Like you it was supplied with a Nokia cradle - so the best thing you can do it buy the bluetooth adapter. The Nokia slides right out and can be replaced with the bluetooth one. Cost about €70 for the BT one.

Also DO NOT cut off the tax disc with the cable in it (the antenna). You risk shorting out the system Surely you could cleanly remove it and hide it somewhere?

Which Nokia kit is fitted??? Does it have the nokia volume control/answer button?

More than likely it's got blue tooth on it. Have you tried pairing with it?

I've my iPhone paired with my Nokia, works great....

Nah - that's too much. Just get the BT adapter, as I said about €70. It's here at £70, but I didn't pay that much.

Bought it 4 years ago, so can't remember where I got it

That's more to show that they exist more than anything. Think that's an Australian site.

Try kube solutions in rathcoole, they do the bury kits.

that ebay cradle just seems to be a holder, dont know if it does anything.

I bought a carcomm cradle for my iphone and couldnt be happier , it installs nicely and has power + audio connections for your iphone , theyre available on expansys and a few other places , that combined with a basic bluetooth parrot car kit or bluetooth built in to the stereo and youd be grand , even has audio outputs if your stereo has an aux / cd changer input.

Yeah have a carkit already installed, read top of thread, just need the holder

Hi Nelly - yep that looks like it. Difference is that this newer model also acts as a cradle as well as a bluetooth connection.
