We are doing up a room at home, and making it into a lounge/den type room with a computer, couch and possibly a playstation.

Does AH have any ideas for naming the room?

In Australia they call that a "rumpus room." Sounds a bit mad but might suit?

I might be a bit mad to ask but why does the room need a name?

    I don't think I've ever named a room.

We've named a couple of rooms at my place. There's the telly room, and the big room, the upstairs room and normal one's like the kitchen, etc..

have an odd room like that. When we bought the house it was a downstairs bedroom, we called it garage room, then it became a playroom, moved the playroom beside the kitchen and now its .... full of crap

Thats your 'fuck off' room. Whenever you and the missus are having an argument and she says "fuck off" (thereby ending the argument) you say "gladly" and go and enjoy (/sulk in) your 'fuck off' room
