    I don't think the Cordoba has a Timing Chain.

    the 1.4 fabia of the same gen i think had a chain.

    chains don't need to be renewed at a specific interval, just if they are giving trouble.

    1.2ltr engine is very loud brought it over to a garage told me it was a chain not a belt price range around 500

    The 1.2 3 cylinder engines are very prone to tensioner problems. €500 is towards the higher end of the scale for an independant garage but wouldn't be overcharging either. Specific tools are required for the job too.
