These days it rarely takes more than a couple of weeks. Often you will find that a phone call will give you the details earlier - it seems to take a while for a letter to issue after registration.

Of course, if you're asking about the Slovenian tax authorities ...

Great thanks for that, was asking about the Irish one for a friend of mine.

Slovenian one takes a lifetime to be issued!!
