Would something like this work for Sky multiroom?

Saw this on Satsklep's site http://www.satsklep.pl/index.php?s=produkt&id_prod=1631&lang=eng

Just wondering if something similar could be implemented into Skyboxes as a solution to customers not having phonelines and wanting multiroom.
I don't know if this device works with sky as it's not on their list of tested boxes.
The majority of people in Ireland don't have landlines anymore so something like this system could be a solution rather than paying expensive line rental just to get multiroom from Sky.
Has anybody used one of these systems or have a bit of indepth knowledge on them?

Its a good idea but i doubt sky would let something like this be used. Videoguard encryption is what sky uses its not on the list for this device.
wasn't there talk last year about a Sky new Hd box that would talk to other sky boxes without the need for a phone line or something like that. Wizard 007 posted up something about it but AFAIK Wizard 007 don't post here any more.

I remember seeing something about it before alright, pity sky don't build these into boxes, but I suppose seeing as they offer tv,phone+bb triple play in the UK it's not a priority to have an alternative to having no landline, little ol' Ireland is forgotten about again.
