    Hi,
Flights from Dub to Reus seem cheap enough for me & gf for 4 days in Easter.
Anyone got any comments on it?
Going to stay in a hotel, any recommendations?
    Thanks!

Reus is approx one and a half hour drive from barcelona. Your nearest resort is salou about 6/7 miles away. It is a popular area due to portaventura theme park. Salou is imho kinda grotty capsalou, la pineada and cambrillis are much nicer, but I am probably older than you and you may prefer salou and its nightlife more. We usually stay in theme park hotel in PA which kids love its worth a day out for any age group.
If you are set on barcelona and want advice of getting from reus to barcelona have a look on tripadvisor costa dorada forum. People there should be able to offer more advice.

It must be RyanAir youre going with ,I think youd be better off actually doing it properly and going with Air Lingus and going to Barcelona itself. Its worth it ,and hotels in Barcelona arent that cheap but drinks and eating out are very cheap .Some galleries are free and other sites are free too .Theres no point going on holidays unless you do it properly .i went with ryanair before and ended up in the middle of nowhere stranded.they are terrible to deal with ,never again.

I don't think you should have too much trouble flying ito Reus, afaik this http://www.igualadina.com/index.php?idioma=eng bus company fit their services around Ryanairs flights, if you click on the ryanair image you can change the page to english and reserve tickets. The journey is about 1hr 30mins so only an extra hour than flying to BCN, but remember to factor in the extra €24 return ticket per person. If the times suit and the flights are cheap i'd do it.

Hotels can be pretty expensive, you might possibly get an apartment/studio for a better price and most areas are safe, just check how close to the metro you are if you plan on travelling around the city.

Food and drink is very good value, the upmarket restaurants charge about €25 for a main course, a normal restaurant will charge about €15 and tapas will vary from €3 to €10 per dish so you will eat and drink well. Spirits will be a similar price to home, but the measures are easily double and the mixer is cheap.

You didn't mention exact dates but don't be surprised if most shops and markets are closed/short opening hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday and all shops will be closed on Easter Sunday, so plan to do your sightseeing these days and shopping on the Saturday.

Feel free to pm if you want any more info or names of places.

    Thanks Guys!
It looks like Ryanair fly to 3 airports close to Barca. Barcelona itself, Girona, and Reus.
Can anyone tell me how far/what connections are needed to get to the city itself from these three?

Girona & Reus are about 100k each it seems.
Where is the BCN airport in Barca, that Ryanair fly to?

    Thanks again!
Any tips on things to do in BCN for a youngish couple? Cheapish too!
She just wants to lie on the beach lol!

    lol - first on google!

There is only one airport with 'Barcelona' in the title, but that doesn't stop airlines such as Ryanair saying they fly to two airlines in the city. Find out more here about Barcelona's airports.
Answer: Barcelona only has one airport - Barcelona International Airport in El Prat de Llobregat, 10km outside of Barcelona city. Its code is 'BCN'.
