I fail nct for emissions; low idle CO .55 (above .5 fail) , high idle; CO .8 (above .3 fail), lambda 1.02 (pass), HC 103 ppm (above 200 - pass), so its only CO, not so tragic I guess.. will Have retest wendesday next week, filters and all checked before first test. I wonder - will botle of Wynnes or dipetane pass me through this time? Any passed users with similar results? Should I put whole bottle of liquid for half or full tank? Use it few days before test or just morning before? Thanks for any advices.

Whoever's selling you the stuff should be advising you how to use it.

The following is a list of the most common causes:
    - Defective Oxygen Sensor
    - Inoperative Air Injection System (if equipped)
    - Leaking or defective Fuel Injectors
    - Restricted air filter (especially if high CO is present only at high RPM)
    - Vacuum leaks resulting in improper MAP sensor operation
    - Defective air mass or air flow sensor
    - Malfunctioning fuel evaporation system or purge valve
    - Defective Catalytic Converter
    - Defective thermostat (cooling system), thermostat stuck open
    - Oil contaminated with fuel, excessive miles between oil changes

To start with I would suggest change the oil, oil filter, air filter and plugs (unless this was done within last few months).
Also clean the MAF and throttle body.

Make an appointment with some local garage to test emissions in 3 days.
Tomorrow put a whole bottle of Dipetane and maybe an injector cleaner in the tank and drive it like stolen for 3 days. Then drive it hard on the motorway >3500rpm for 30 mins before the test at the garage.

thanks for copy/paste anyway. any experienced with similar results? filters, plugs changed. just ask to know - are these results can be fixed by wynnes or dipetane? not too high?
