New 185/60 R14 wheel: best price?

Would anybody know where I'd get a decent price on the above wheel (and tyre)? I hit it off a kerb some time back and ever since the rim of the wheel has been digging into the tyre and I had a bit of an incident with taking a bend today so I think it's safer if I get a replacement wheel and tyre asap.

I'm in Dublin. Somebody suggested that Traynor's in Dungannon, who deliver to Dublin, might be a good bet. Anywhere else - and what sort of price should I expect to pay?

    Thanks.

    185/60 R 14 is a size of a tyre.
You still need other parametres for your wheel.
You need to know how many screws is there, and what's the diameter around them.
You also need to know ET (offset) of the rim.

    What car make is it?

I also needed to replace rim some time ago for fiat bravo, and got one from scrapyard for 20 quid. I think scrapyard would be a good go if it's a steel rim.

Thanks for that clarification. It's a Skoda Fabia saloon 1.4. You said you replaced the rim for €20 - you do mean the wheel? (apologies if that's a silly question). And then you bought a tyre on top or was it included? If I get a scrapyard would they know 1) the wheel I need by looking and 2) would they put it on or do I put it on myself?

What scrapyard would be trustworthy (at least relatively)?

The wheel consists in general of rim and tyre.
I got the whole wheel (rim + tyre) for 20 euros. But the tyre was not great, and I had a brand new set of 4 tyres, so I took the tyre off, and used the whole new set.

    Answering your questions.

    1. most likely if you tell them that you need a wheel for skoda fabia 1.4, they would be able to get the proper one.

    2. Scrapyards usually don't fit parts, so you will probably have to fit a wheel yourself, or get your car to the garage to do it.

Thanks. I vaguely remember how to change a wheel. It's just that I don't have the tools so I'll have to find them before I head down to the scrapyard. Thanks again.

Do you not carry a spare wheel for when you get a puncture? Its foolish to drive anywhere without a spare or the tools to change the wheel even if you have AA cover as you could eb left sitting a very long time waiting for rescue.

Or indeed stuck on the side of a mountain where there is no reception for your mobile. I've said it before here but will say it again...I believe every able bodied driver, be they male or female should be able to change a wheel, not being sexist works both ways too.
