...is there anything better? Sneaking out the door in 20 minutes for as many holes as I can fit in...let the good times roll!

Nothing beats it. I work evenings now so it's all 'before-work golf' for me, but used to finish at 3pm, often be on first tee by a quarter to four, and it'd only take til you were half-way down the first fairway to forget you were ever in work at all that day. Heaven :)

The best for me is Friday evening golf straight after work, with a steak and a beer afterwards. You quickly forget you've done a weeks work, and you can relax and enjoy the food and pint afterwards, a great way to start the weekend!

I have to pass my club on the way home most days, so the longer evening are a God send. My partner always says that I'm a different person after a bit of golf even if I've had a bad round.
Try to get 3 holes in on the way home at least 2 nights a week. Heaven when the sun is out in the evening.

Need it to stretch to half 8 or 9 before I can fit 9 holes in! Not long now! I find it 100 times better than a driving range!

Ya 100% better because you can't judge how your hitting the ball from those silly mats............ Maybe the driver helps for practicing technique but for nothing else.

I love the practice around the greens, out of the bunkers, chip and runs, soft lob wedge shots from about 10-15yards.

I also love dropping a couple at the 150 mark and seeing how close to the pin I can hit it.

Got 10 holes in last nite. Weather was incredible. Not a hint of a breeze and even had to take the jumper off :p
