hey, would anyone have any info about whether it's possible for myself and my girlfriend to get married in a civil ceremony in Spain? (both of us are Irish citizens, first-timers and hetero). I think it varies somewhat between the particular registrars and regions but any info or pointers would be great. thanks

Congrats on getting engaged.I am getting married in Spain in 7 weeks time.
We are getting married in a catholic church out there as thats the only way the marriage is legally recognized out there for non residents of spain.
