Itunes will not recognize my iphone 3g

    As it says in the title itunes will not recognize my iphone 3g when connected to my computer. i updated itunes but it still wont recognize it any help appreciated

    Is it being detected as a camera?

    The most common causes for this are the Apple Mobile Device service not starting, the same said service being blocked by a firewall (check the per app permissions and allow all for iTunes and AMDS), a driver issue, or the USB port not being a USB 2 port.

    its ok now i fixed it..the iphone driver was just corrupt so i reinstalled it
