Council Lease Agreement

    Has anyone availed of the 10 year lease agreement the council sometimes offer, as in they lease your house off you for 10-20 years.
    I was thinking of going down this route and would like to here any first hand experiences, good or bad please.

    Would really be interested in any experiences entering into a lease like this where the council become the landlord of your house for 10 - 20 years:

    Just ring the Housing Department of your Local Authority and they should be able to give you all the information you need, does seem to be a very good scheme for people stuck with properties they cant sell
