    just got quoted €30 a meter for brown PVC fence, 3 rails high.. thought it was OK price.. Now I'm actually thinking it may be worth it...

    Timber would need to be treated every two years. 160m long so would take 3 days and about €120 of materials each time..

    Something else to mull over

    bbam, can I ask you wher you got quoted €30 per meter for brown post and rail. Lowest quote I have got so far is from http://www.fogartypvcfencing.com/ @ €28 pm (ex VAT) for white but if I want brown or black it will cost an extra €8 pm. I have about 120 meters to cover so nearly an extra grand before VAT just to get coloured fence

    Yeah where did u get that quote? I've been looking it up and can't find a price as good as that!
