Doing a spring replacement on a G&P gearbox bought off ehobby, it has a metal air nozzle in it and I'm wondering whether I should leave it in or switch to a plastic one from the original box.

Quick replies appreciated as it's currently all over my desk, thanks.

I much prefer plastic ones as I find you can get a better seal. Is your hop chamber metal or plastic? If it is plastic, I'd reccomend that you use the plastic nozzle.

G&P System... I'd swap to a plastic. As then should something go wrong, one item has some give, if metal nozzle jams in metal hop unit... gearbox vomit will occur. Plus as dear Lefty has said, it does create a better seal due to more maleable material (it makes a difference)
