    HI,
Can anyone throw some suggestions at me?

    Looking for bike around 600euro.
Mainly rough country roads, some gravel tracks and commuting. Hybrid?
Could be up to 3 hrs in saddle.
    Lightweight prefered over suspension.
    Disc brakes worth it?
Must be able to fit mudguards.
I'm crap at climbing but dont need really low gears, what would be a better geometry/frame type to help?

I havent cycled in years, just returning now, things changed a bit!

Havent done much research yet but Cannondale bad boy seems an option, what would the equivalent from Trek/Giant/Ridgeback/Specialized/GaryFisher/Lapierre/Dawes/Marin/Orange/Ridgeback etc etc

Who will give me most bang for my buck? I'm lost where to start. As anyone got a link to a decent hybrid "best buy" review?

If the Cannondale Bad Boy appeals to you, check out the Giant Seek bikes - much easier to get, but still have the "aggressive hybrid" style.
Hydraulic discs are complete overkill on anything but a full-on mountainbike, that said I have them on my commuter bike:o

Edit - 3hrs + in the saddle might steer you towards a road bike with dropped handlebars for alternative hand positions for comfort...
