How long before your TD contacts your after you call or email him or her?

Just wondered if anyone else has tried phoning and emailing their TD. If you have how long before they got back to you? Did they ever respond?

I contacted my TD before 9am via email, I followed it up with a phone call to his mobile number after 10am. I'm still waiting for a response.

It depends on the question asked I suppose. I've only had to contact mine once and from the 5 it was:
Joe Behan (Ind): Within the hour to tell me he was on holidays and would look into it on his return.
Billy Timmins (FG) within the hour
Liz McManus(Lab): Next morning
Andrew Doyle (FG) 3 weeks after
Dick Roche (FF) never responded.

But you have to give them time. Sending an email at 9 and following up an hour later may be asking for a little much? They might not have even seen your mail. I'd give it 2-3 days before following up anything. They have a country to run after all!

I appreciate they could be busy, but you'd think they would have sme automated reply giving an expectation of when they'd get back to you.

TDs running the country? Thought that was Angela Merkle with help from the European Central Bank, and the IMF!

Contacted a minister recently who replied within a couple of hours.

I know my TD personally so unless he's in mettings he will always answer the phone.
