for new first time buyers, yes - its in the program for govt (the previous Govt. was planning to phase it out by end 2012)

Anyone who is currently getting it will continue to get it until their relief term runs out.

Estate Agents are complaining about it, but numerous economic reports during the boom years advocated abolishing it to help cool the market - naturally these were ignored by Goodtime Charlie and his fat successor.

Its been extended to the end of the year, heard it on the radio news as they need to pass it in the Dail and apparently there is no time for it before June. :)

Anyone know if it has been verified that interest relief is being extended to the end of 2011 rather than June? Thanks
