    Hi all,

I'm in a Rage Against The Machine tribute band and we're looking to see whereabouts around the country (preferably east coast) would have us? We've already played fibbers a couple of times last year and mainly play in our home town Drogheda. We're looking for any places that would have hard rock/metal bands and that would draw a crowd. Any help at all would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Shane

Hi, try the Piper inn in Clonmel. RATM tribute is the kind of thing that would work in that pub, bring a support act or two though. It can be tough to fill that place sometimes so bring friends.

If ye are just doing this for the love of the music then you will have a blast. Dont expect to get paid, if ye are lucky ye might get a few free cans. Ask for Paul, goodluck! :pac:

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can do about Clonmel, none of us has a van so its hard to get to gigs unless we rent one for about 150 quid, which is a bit steep if theres no sign of pay, do you know if that pub does a cover charge? we do it for the love of the music but in these tight times it can be tough to pay to play essentially!
