Nintendo 3DS Trade In

Hope this is the right place, I thought it was more likely to get an experienced response here.

Bought my aqua blue 3DS at launch and just don't like it. I didn't think about it when I bought it, it was an impulse buy and I know I won't use it a lot, bar when OoT and Paper Mario come out.

I'm wondering how much I can get to trade it in. I bought it in HMV and I'd gladly take cash credit for it, because I've wanted a Wii for sometime and could still play OoT via WiiWare.

Or would I be better taking it to Game or Gamestop? I've the receipt and everything else that came with.

Any advice greatly appreciated, sorry again if I'm in the wrong place :(

Dont know the price you'd get by trading it in but by going on other console trade in's you'd be better off throwing it up for sale on www.adverts.ie

Best thing to do is go to Smyths, Extravision, HMV, Game and Gamestop and find out for yourself which is the best value.

Just before you go trading it in, I thought best to mention that OoT is getting a bit of a revamp for the 3DS so it'll look better than the wii version. IGN has an article on it:

Went in to gamestop today about trading in my own, 230 euro store credit for a 3DS, and 35 euro for sf4.
They said I think 175 in cash for the both.
