Im a bit uneducated about the whole thing so i would appreciate a bit of advice if anyone has it.
My question is this. When a dentist takes out a rotten tooth can they replace it with a perminant false tooth, as in one that does not have to be removed at night? Ive never been to a dentist that gave me an option and just ended up with gaps where old teeth had to be removed.
I know i will have to get the entire thing removed as it is completely rotten but do not fancy having to take in and out false teeth at night.

    Cheers in advance

You can have bridges or dental implants to solve these problems, I would look them up on google and then ask your dentist about them and if he/she does not do them ask for an appropriate referral.

Nobody need wear dentures, it depends on the amount of work you want done and the investment you are willing to make.

I had bridge work done (3 front teeth) 31 yrs ago and thank god they are still good. I recenly looked into the cost of having an extra tooth added because the tooth next to the bridge is heavily filled. Because I have had my bridge way over the expected time I was told I would have to replace the original bridge. The cost of this ie a bridge with 4 teeth was over €2,500. So yes a bridge is great it just isn't in every ones price range. The alternative - an implant - is also a very expensive option

I'm having a dental implant done at the moment its replacing a tooth that was broken as a child and had been crowned on a number of occasions over the years the tooth had also had root canal over the years. The tooth obviously has been weakened so that's why I opted for an Implant. The cost so far is €1500
