Did anyone just see this on Dragons Den ,so funny .Cant believe I never went to see it or have heard of it.
The actor was brilliant ,obviously talented and impressed every dragon ,with all of them investing. Not something that happens often.

Thought it was a bit crap. Although he knew his figures and stuff and they had made a fair bit of money off it already so he was doing well there. And the dragons all seemed to enjoy it so I'm not all that surprised he got the money.

Sorry it was on Rte 1 .Two actors going a play with 11 characters. The scene was the two men dressed as pure Cork old ones ,in Santa Ponsa.
It has been shown in The Everyman and once in Dublin with good success.
I thought it was funny ,was pretty typical of Cork City older women on holidays ,especially in such a tacky place as Santa Ponsa.Went there before ,was full of these stereo types.

I saw them and thought they were crap. They work for RTE on Joe Duffys funny as aids Friday and are p*ss poor doing charlie McCreevy sketches etc.

RTE did a good job of giving RTE employees a major advertising slot!

Yet again ,more obscene negativity .Why am I surprised.

I didn't really find the sketch that funny but I liked his McCreevy impression.

As for the business side of things, well he had his figures off and the idea has demonstrated its profitability on a localized scale.

Im sure those involved in the arts would be pretty happy to see more and more of this kind of investment.

Whether everyone likes it or not is irrelevant....some people like it. As long as it fills seats then its a winner for the dragons and the 2 guys at hand.

Also, as for it being a major advertising slot for RTE employees, isn't it a major advertising slot for anyone!

I know the last girl and am delighted for her too with her investment.

On that note, does anyone else on here have a severe disliking of that Bobby Kerr? He comes across as an absolute pr1ck. Could be a grand fella but I find him so fake and obnoxious
