Feeling miserable

Just feel like getting this off my chest, probably no real advice that I can be given but sometimes it helps to write things down.

Tomorrow I have to go back to a job I don't like that has me away from my friends, family and other half. Outside of work during the week I spend basically all of my time alone which is no fun. My car has broken down and if it's expensive to fix I am in serious financial difficulty. I'm aware my problems are probably fairly trivial compared to others but I feel like crap at the moment.

You're problems are not "trivial". Why? Because they're yours. I can totally empathise with you. Unfortunately, your condition is one that so many are facing in this climate. All you can do is try to keep a positive attitude that things will get better. Try to find something to occupy your time while away from your family.

Finance or lack thereof is always stressful and for this I have no real advice except to say that as long as you've enough to get by you're ok. Our perception of being broke is so different to that of others in the world. So again, try to keep it in perspective and try not to worry yourself so much about things that will come to pass.

Think of all the good in your life and this will help you through the tough times. Although jobs are few and far between at present, start looking for something closer to home that means you can stay at home.

Most of all, try to stay positive. Happiness is a state of mind. Things will improve. I hope writing it down helped you in some way.
