iPhone 4 - Tethering internet keeps dropping

Anyone else have this problem. Tethering will work for about a minute after connecting the phone to computer via USB and then doesn't work again until I restart my phone. Even when tethering isn't working, mobile internet on my iPhone will work. I'm using Windows 7 and when I ran diagnose my problem, it tells me it's a DNS…

Anyone else have this problem.

Is there a simple explanation to what is going on ?

iPhone is jailbroken btw.

yuck,dns errors.my upc is a nightmare for that!
