i went out last night, discovered the new club in cork is actually refreshingly good (usually a new club meant the same old crap in a new/refurbed venue).

I went to sleep early on Friday and just watched the match yesterday. Exhilirating stuff, I don't think I'll top it.

Friday watched Never Let Me Go in the cinema....had a heavy conversation about it after...met up with friends for a beer and went home early.

Saturday went for a walk....food shopping....cleaned my toilet....bought a book in Spanish....Raymond Carver translated...perfect for my level....delighted...had dinner with Irish friend who talked the ear off me for 2 hours...drank beer....met up with her boyfriend's friends...went to a bar with sand on the floor....met up with a guy who I've been meaning to meet for while and who got in touch and had a good auld shift...a proper kiss like we were teenagers....found out something I don't want to know and has made my life just that bit more complicated. Got home at 7.30am because clocks went forward.

Sitting on my hole now eating king prawns and lentils reading boards contemplating the thing that's made my life a bit more complicated. Head wreaked. Back to bed in a sec....

Ouch, well done if you weren't hurt by it, a decent one is almost impossible to do anything against.

Went to the pav for outdoor sunshine cans and to stare at beautiful rich Trinity girls on Friday.

Got a bottle of Aldi vodka drank it and then took my sleeping pills at 9pm yesterday.

    Woke up at 1pm today.

    My social life is exhilarating.

It was a poxy one at closing time..

Normally it wouldn't have got that far, but I was positioned right under a CCTV cam and had to wait for it to go off.. Just closed the gap & went to war when it happened..

No biggie, fvcker won't do it again for awhile.

Other than that, good weekend.. I'm competing next Saturday so I'm on the ball at the moment, focused and in great form.

(although I cheated and necked a couple of Bud last night).

yeah its the door next to the Quad, i loved it, (beware i was a tad drunk so this is what i think i remember) :) top floor from what i saw has a chef cooking gourmet food, 2 bars and is the smoking area.

downstairs brings you in to a great place to sit (really cool comfy couches) chat and have a few drinks while we were there they played songs like The Cure Lovecats, Lauryn Hill Doo wop...etc

dance floor played everything from dynamite-Taio cruz to Lady gaga to Fatman Scoop to NERD to Snap. there was a good mix and the dancefloor was literally busy all night and yet when we went dancing you still had room, (aka not all squashed together havanna's esq)

there is a designated Rum bar, we found we weren't queuing long at all at any bar.

the crowd was good (well there were quite a few guys i knew in there) there were plenty of (hot) girls , i noticed the doormen turning away people while we were walking up, so they are going for the upmarket hassle free people and so far it's working for them... and it's strictly over 23's.

Straight from work to training at home on Friday then into the pub with the lads, wasn't drinking then drove us all home.

Went for a walk with friends around Muckross Park then up to ladies view for a good look around followed by Ice cream in town which was awesomesauce

Went to see limitless last night then home and went from Killarney to Cahirciveen for a match Sunday where I got no game time due to my complete lack of fitness :(

me too, it was a bit sad, and a few tears so not a great day. Spent Sunday wiping arses, cleaning dirty faces, breaking up fights and feeding my kids, took them swimming to wear them out !
