Law Regarding Wages

    Hi,
I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on this issue.
Last sunday I was apparently 2 minutes late for work and as a result, I was deducted 15minutes worth of my wages. I work part time.
Can anybody tell me about the law surrounding this?
I was told by somebody that they cannot touch my wages unless I am 7 minutes late.

    Thank you.

You need to check your contract.

Some employers will take the view that you disrupted operations by showing up late.
