Hi,if you dont mind me asking about nissan x trail, how many kilometres per litre of petrol do you get on x trail.
Is mileage a problem while considering x trail, seen 04 with 103 kmiles for 4k,is it worth buying one with 100 kmiles on clock or should i consider low miles.

    All suggestions welcome.

I just sold a petrol 2WD X-Trail too. Got 6K for it. It had 50,000 miles with a FSH and no dents or damage.

So I've been driving the wife's 1.4 civic (egg shape) for the last couple of months and, truthfully, I don't think the X-Trail was that much more expensive to run.

Huge boot, wipe down interior and mega reliable.

You have to avoid the 2.2dsl - which is a pity because I'd have one if they could be trusted.

Recently been looking at Freelanders myself. Freelander 1 is a big no no. Early Freelander 2 will cost you about €10K.

Just to add - because no one ever told my X-Trail that it was only 2WD, when the snow came it just laughed and got on with it. (It wasn't so surefooted on the ice tho.)

Lots of good cheap petrol X-Trails out there at mo.

    Hi all,
I am about to buy an suv,my final choice is between rav 4 and x trail(2002 - 2005),both petrol and manual only.
Which one is more reliable ? also, which one is more comfortable to drive and travel and have more space for front and back passengers ?
Also, which one is cheap to maintain taking in account of 2.0 litre petrol ? Always read xtrail is thirsty on petrol,is that significantly high from 2.0 litre rav 4 if true ? If someone could compare fuel efficency both in city and long run among these two, that will be great.I am currently using 02 1.5 petrol almera which gives me 10 km/litre.
And finally which one is best in snow,i dont wanna go skating in next snow.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.
