It looks like I'm going to spending the afternoon around castleknock tomorrow. I've heard tell of a few small trails around the pheonix park so I was thinking of bringing the bike and checking them out. I was just wondering if anyone might have a gps trace or even a description (perhaps catered to someone who doesn't know anything about the park and hasn't been there since they were a kid :D ) of where the trails are so I could check them out?

If you go into the castleknock gate, there is dirt tracks on your left and right.
I'd say the righthandside one is better as it goes towards the fury glen.

Yeah, I'd agree that the best bet is to head around by the Furry Glen and then on down towards the Magazine Fort. Just pooter around - it's not big enough to get lost :)
