    Hey guys,

I've had unsuccessful attempts at buying things on play for the last few weeks. Ordered a book in jan and it came fine. But lately anytime I order anything it tells me There is a problem with your chosen delivery address.

Anybody else getting this or is it just me?
I've changed the post code numerous times to 'None' or 'BT1 1AA' but nothing seems to amend the problem :( Its a delievery to ROI just to clarify..

I was told that for the post code on sites like play.com (i use cd-wow sometimes) that you put in 0000 (four zeros) for Ireland. Not sure if that works with play.com

Just tried your suggestion there, no luck :(
I hope it hasn't gone exclusively UK...

I just checked the addresses I have registered with Play and for the Dublin one, I just have 2 as the postcode (as in Dublin 2 when I send stuff to work) and for the home I have Co Louth in the postcode. Both of them seem to work.

Just received 5 items for my son's birthday and they all arrived this week. Never had any issues with Play in the last 4 years with games / T-shirts / DVD's etc and my address Post Code is Ireland

This sounds like you are picking the sterling option, thats why your order wont go through for the dvds. Change to the euro option and it should go through at their slightly high exchange rate

Tried lastnight again to order different things (Books & a DVD) and had no problems. Must be just anything electronics/gagety that won't work.

Thanks for all your feedback though!;)

    Hi,

Recently purchased from Play.com, A Day in The Life, archive documentary dir by John Krish. The box said it was dual format - Blue Ray and DVD. I don`t have a Blue Ray player but I assumed as it stated DVD on the cover it would play in my DVd player or PC. No luck in either. Any suggestions?

A lot of BFI releases are "dual format".

It just means you get two discs - one DVD and one Blu Ray - in the one case.

No problem. I'll be ordering the set myself in a few weeks. I buy lots of BFI stuff. The British Transport and COI documentary sets are great as are their Flipside range of films.

You`ll enjoy the films in this set, Krish is an excellent observer and his docs will stand the test of time. Some of his work is featured in the set, Shadows of Progress which I`m also enjoying at the moment.

Just finished watching Shadows of Progress last week. Outstanding set. The standalone book (not the one included in the set) is excellent too.

Hi, I purchased this excellent documentary collection from Play.com. On the disc with the film Nanette, it says there is an interview with the director in the features. Have tried - many times - to access this interview, but can`t find it. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a typo and there is no interview. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

??? Try the films forum. This had nothing to do with Online buying.
