    Hi

I am back to work next week after maternity leave. Before my leave i was working 3 days per week and signing the x's and o's sheets for 3 days.

I am now going back on 3 days where my income is 320 (this is what it always was) I am also waiting on my lone parent income request to go through. I am assuming based on my income and maintenance from ex that i would be give between 70 and 80 per week lone parent.

My question is am i still entitled to claim my 3 days on x's and o's or do i claim FIS (i know it will be a small amount possibly 40 euro or so im just not sure wat i should do

It depends - do you qualify for Jobseeker's benefit or allowance. You cannot claim allowance with One Parent Family, you can claim half rate Benefit however.
You will have means deducted from One Parent Family Payment, however if you do, you will get the means back on the JSB - so your payment would be OFP minus means and half the personal Jobseeker's rate plus means.
So if you would only qualify for around 40 euro FIS you may be better off on the Jobseeker's benefit.
