    Hello!
Ok, so have a dilemma. Me and the OH are opening a fruit and veg shop but we can't think of a witty enough name that we both like.
Initally we thought of 'Spuds 'n' Stuff' (cuz there will be other stuff) but I'm not convinced.

I'm SURE there are many of you out there that would be able to come up with something... we've got a 7 week deadline!!!!

P.S Mods, if this is in the wrong thread feel free to move.

When you say "stuff" ... do you mean bacon & beer?

I can't think of anything right now ... but Spuds & Stuff sounds pretty good to me.

Spuds &c. (with the & looking more like a joined Et) or

    fruit, veg, etc.

Thanks im_invisible... prefer the & than 'n'.. does look better !

@trout.. We had been thinking of doing a special offer in June/July (bbq season) "Buy 1 Lime get a bottle of Corona free"

I have no idea what fruit & veg is or why you'd open a whole shop just to sell it. I think this is the wrong forum for your depravity.

On a semi-serious note - I wouldn't bother with a clever title. Most people won't get it, and probably won't even realise what your shop is selling.

There's an old fruit n veg shop in dub city centre called "Top of the Pops". Always liked that name, "pops" been an old word for spuds n all...

I saw that Corrigan Chef on the telly one eve and he was eating a half of a spud with a little pat of butter and salt on it. Looked gorgeous. Irish Oysters he called them. Good man, Corrigan.

Potatoes really are proof that there is a God and that he wants us to be happy.

How about "Five a Day". Most people are familiar with the recommended 5 a day fruit and veg portions (..apart from the audience in this forum maybe ;)). It might make people purchase 5 items off you instead of just one! Best of luck with your new venture!

That's mad ! I just read the 1st post in the thread and thought straight away I'll suggest 'Roots n Shoots' or 'Roots,Shoots n all things tasty' but seems you got to it (similiar anyway) way before me
