    hey lads..

Been approached by these guys twice this year now.. once last semester and literally a day after laughing about that with su pres it happens again this semester
Both times have been about 4pm in the day.

Anyways, these guys drive a crappy little light blue Ford Fiesta. There's always two of them.. and the other day they sat in the entrance of the secondary school on the blanch road and sat there...I'd noticed the car from well back but didn't take any heed, and obviously they'd spotted myself and Atspulgs whose been with me on both occasions, and decided to sit there and wait to ask us.

It's wonderfully reasurring walking home to get approached by this >.>

It's also really annoying since I've been approached loads while walking along that road by people looking for directions so I'm instantly thinking that's what's up when someone pulls up with window down or whatever.

Anyways... you have been warned ;D

Warned about their amazing quality and low low prices???

    Visit www.littlelightblueFordFiestaoutsideblanchit.info for special offers

    :P

On a serious note, I've no idea how these guys make any money from it, or why they take the chance. Who the hell would buy a laptop out of a car they meet on the side of the road??

Have u seen them on campus brendan/brenden (correct me plz)?

See if they have a silver Toshiba, it has two vertical lines on the screen, no mains lead, and the battery will only last a few minutes.

If so it's mine, stolen from office last weekend and reported to Laytown Gardai.

The files on it are worth more than the laptop, but only to me.

At this stage I would pay a reward.

yeah the security in itb knows, not much they can do though.

I haven't been approached on campus, that would be bad, just on the blanch road out of college.

I've heard a story of a guy in my class who bought one off some lads down in the center and they handed him a cardboard box with argos catalogs in it...after showing a nice laptop to him

Don't know if it's related so no idea if they're actually selling anything stolen or trickster. I deffinately wasn't about to stay talking to them :D

"stolen from office" ??? omg like they just wandered in ? 0_0... I always leave my laptop out and lying around in classes and such. Unfortunately as I said... didn't stop to see if they actually had one, so no idea, that sucks man. For future reference try using dropbox.... that way you just lose your laptop... unless you've an absolute mountain of files. Also Prey is a good tool to install, you install it on your laptop and it can maybe help recovery... no actual reported cases of it working yet though XD.
It's a bit late for that kinda info now, but might be handy for laters ;D

They say, "Want to buy a laptop", you reply "Yes sure". Give them the money, and they give you a laptop bag with a couple of bottles of water in it. They they drive away as quick as they can before you notice ;)

Anyone who actually buys from them deservers to be punished by not getting a laptop!!
