Wanting to start making some short films/documentary things based where i live. So im looking into getting a camcorder. Im thinking €100-€200 absolute maximum cause im just staring. Itll only be like 4-5 minute things.

Anyway i was looking at the "JVC GZ-MS110BEK" and it seems to fit the bill. Any pros/cons i should know about?

Im going to make a couple of videos with my sisters camera first to get used to editing etc. But want my own so i can bring it with me everywhere during the holidays.

    Any advice welcome!
    Thanks in Advance,
    Naessens

The likes of these weigh in about 140 euros for a decent speced one.
    Where to look at them:

PC World - I visit Jervis Street Mall or Square Tallaght

don't bother with Argos also in both locations.

I own a JVC mini cam corder as well. The Definition gets bobbly or snowy when I use Zoom - so I suggested both models above.

I read the JVC has good low-light recording, this would be more important to me than good zoom. Should i still look into kodak or panasonic instead?

I use Minicams for filming my Radio Control models - my other hobby horse - I lurk around the Models pages here as well. I use very small camcorders like Swann as sold in Peats for putting on these toys. Also, for filming flora and flora for the season that is in it right now - THe Spring.
