Iphone 3GS 3.1.3 tethering question

    Hi guys,

I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS on 3.1.3 and I've just started a new job which means I'm out and about in town with my laptop all day. Instead of using coffee shops for their WiFi, I'd like to tether my iPhone instead to access the internet on my laptop.

What are the current options for this? I tried the search function but everything seems pretty dated (or is that because everyone has upgraded to iPhone 4?)

For the record, it was an O2 phone that I'm using on Vodafone.

    Much appreciated.

Im curious as to how this is working out for you? Have you got a wifi hotspot on the 3gs or is it using the cable?

I have never really Jailbroken before. But would be interested in doing it. So I could use my my ipad with my 02 3gs?
