Pre-interview interview

What do people think of pre-interview interviews job agencies conduct? Does anyone have experience of these? If so did you get the job? There seems little point to me if the company in question has already told the agency they want to interview the candidate. Whats you thoughts?

I think if you haven't interviewed in a while then it might be worthwhile doing a pre-interview, even more so if you have no interview experience.
To be honest, I would try and get someone with upper managerial experience in the industry you are applying for to interview you or even just send you an email with questions. For my most recent interview I had someone I know who hires in that area send me an email of questions and some of the tough ones in that were ones I was asked and had prepared thankfully!

Also, I can't praise this book highly enough. An excellent book altogether.
