    do i have to go back to the same centre for the retest or is any centre ok?

    Not true, any test centre will do the retest for you. You're supposed to bring the test result sheet from the previous test with you but they can also check their computer.

    i rang them today. you can do the retest in any centre.

    Good to know in case one needs to get the car retested asap and the first centre is booked out.

    I have to get a retest done on 1 thing that it failed for but I don't have the orginal Test sheet, I left it in the garage where I was getting it fixed, they rang me and told me that they would post it out but that was last Monday and I still have not received it, question is do I need this for retest, thanks.

    Nope any test centre will do.

    I had the original in Naas and the retest in Deansgrange as I was out working near there that day.

    No problems nor questions asked, it was even booked online
