Does anybody know how to source teachers for subbing if you're the teacher going out?

Over the years, if I've been out on maternity or sick etc, there's always been difficulty getting my classes covered and I don't know how much effort was put into finding someone. Part time teachers or H Dips are usually asked to cover, no matter if they're not up to scratch in the subjects, and then I've double the work to do when I come back.

    What do other people do?

Maybe if there's anyone interested in hours in the West they might PM me?
