I updated the software for an iPOD touch and although I was careful and I'm fairly au fait with these things, I noticed that when completed all the music and games contents had disappeared. I then did a restore as it was the only way forward and it seemed to be OK, but when I install a CD to copy, the tunes don't load in…

I updated the software for an iPOD touch and although I was careful and I'm fairly au fait with these things, I noticed that when completed all the music and games contents had disappeared. I then did a restore as it was the only way forward and it seemed to be OK, but when I install a CD to copy, the tunes don't load in as before with all titles against the specific album artwork, but as individual tunes on separate lines in the library. These then transfer SOME of the titles and only some of the associated artwork. I'm trying to get this right as I'm doing it for a mentally handicapped man who uses his POD constantly. BTW the CD's are genuine and not copies, so I expect them to load as proviously, but alas they didn't.
Any ideas folks?
