Tiagra V's Ultegra cassettes?

Whats the verdict - is there really much difference between a tiagra cassette and ultegra - 9 speed if that makes any difference? Ok just looked up chain reactions and it looks like the ultegra is a bit lighter.. so is that it? Any thoughts on performance?

Lighter, better finished. Maybe a marginal shifting improvement with the Ultegra. Longevity would be similar I imagine. Worth bearing in mind with the pre-10 speed stuff that the 9-speed Tiagra will be a more recent development than the same Ultegra.

As far as I know the spacers were made of plastic in the ultegra to save about 10g or so. I'm not sure that it is worth the extra cash
