Same as for the rest of us, ring every ins co and a good selection of brokers for the cheapest quote.

They are not an Insurance company, they are just a brokers and you'll end up insured with a standard Irish insurers.

Try Britton Insurance in Donegal, http://www.brittoninsurance.com.

Hope I can help. I work for Chill insurance, chill.ie. We compare over 14 different insurers so we can get yu the info you want quickly.

Of the top of my head there are a company called XS direct. They charge a €3,000 excess but the premiums are pretty cheap and they will quote on people with convictions.... might be of interest! If not there are other options. Calls us as you wont get a quote online because of your conviction.

    Hope this helps!

    All the best anyway,
    Chris

Try and get a quote with Asgard, they only sell through brokers but you will find them to be cheapest for drivers with endoresments, no crazy excesses either.
