    This 100km race is on this sunday kickin off at 7:00 am in perth ,scotland.Ireland has a strong team this year with Thomas maguire,John byrne ,Keith whyte,Daniel doherty and Wounded knee competing and Tony B goin on the support team.Best of luck guys........................u better win j'or or some deleting will be happinin;)

    i guess the lads will be in bed by now given the clock change.

    Will there be updates online, or anywhere?

    hopefully Le Cheile will post here or on FB fairly often.


    now that WK won't see this until post race, I can confirm what Ultraman was saying.

    WK trains in a very disciplined fashion and always event specific.
    His training regime + ability to recover in the last 3 months has been remarkable, coupled with a first-class nutritional regime.

    He is in peak condition now for a relatively fast race, (although 100k wouldn't be his strongest event).

    So hoping everyone performs to the best of their ability tomorrow.

    Team tucked up and geared up for race tomorrow. Very strong team will start and look forward to reporting strong performances. Updates will depend on Internet access. Does anyone know if the clock are going back or forward tomorrow? :)

    Well done to all the team. That's the best 100km team result by an Irish team. We can add it to the Cricket and the Rugby in the list of Victories over "the auld enemy". There's a brief summary and some photos here.
