    maybe get an ssd or normal harddrive for installing the operating system on

    looks fine apart from that

    The motherboard won't do. It needs a PCI-e x1 for the BlackGold tuner.

    I'm thinking of these components now. I'll be adding the BlackGold tuner obviously.

    I think the case is a better option. It comes with a remote control and IR receiver. It seems to get good reviews. The PSU is probably better too.

    I am using an old SD Sony CRT TV. It has SCART and RGB inputs.

    The motherboards supports D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI.

    Is a VGA to RGB adapter like this the way to go?
