What is the point of this thread? Are you really that interested in when people shop or are you just bored out of your mind?

I kind of chop and change depending on what we need and when. I try to avoid "peak" times like Friday afternoon, and Saturdays. I love Sunday mornings as the shops open, but sometimes I go on a Monday morning... less annoying kids!

It just popped into my head that I do mine on wednesdays, and then I was thinking well why do I do that? Why wednesday, but my parents did theirs on wednesday...it's weird

Don't do a weekly shop as such. Would buy a load of meat and vegatables at the weekend and then buy anything thats needed daily.

If i had to choose it would be Thursday as thats the day my parents did it when I was growing up :) (now I drink beer on a Thursaday evening!).

Usually on Fridays but I generally go when I need to.

I love shopping in the 24 hour Dunnes in the early hours of the morning :D

Get a bit in on Thursday and then finish it off on a Friday! Nothing like a full fridge for the weekend knowing you only have to step outside the door to go to the pub or bookies :D

Sunday morning, mostly. Then spend the remainder of the day pottering about in the kitchen, whipping up a storm.

Same as above, kinda pop into the butchers on whatever day I run out of meat and get meat and veg for a few days there, trhen occasionally swing into Superquinn/Dunnes on my way home and pick up bits for the next week or two. Never really do a big weekly shop as such. Mainyl cuz I dont drive.

I have a woman who does the shopping for me. I got her in to replace my mam when I grew up.

I'd do most of mine on a Sunday. Hardly anyone around, no rush to get to a counter before the line goes all the way up an aisle, and no chuggers.

whenever the previous days shopping runs out

I don't do the shopping on the same day every week. It really depends on schedules for the week, as in if my boyfriend is working nights or not, if I'm gonna go to the gym close to my parents and eat at theirs, that kinda thing. I do like shopping late though, in a 24 hour Tesco.
