Going for spins at lunchbreaks

I work in a (Dublin) city centre office and occasionally go for a run, maybe 7/8k, or a swim at lunch as I'm sure plenty of others here do too. Most of my training takes place in the evenings however.
I'm wondering does anyone ever venture out for a spin on the bike during lunch at all?
My training is mostly foucused on sprint distance tris at the moment due to work and college. I get out for longer spins at the weeknd of course but like the idea of heading out at lunchtime for the sheer enjoyment. Can't imagine I'd be on the saddle for any more than 40 minutes. So does anyone do this does the lack of time spent on the saddle mean there's no real benefit? I'm generally pretty keen to squeeze the most out of the week...

I generally try to get 2 or 3 sessions a week done at lunch. They are mostly 45min runs though but the odd 45min recovery cycle could fit there too just spinning the legs
