They are all pretty much the same, using the same atom processor etc.

However, try and upgrade the ram to 2GB and go to PC world and see which keyboard you like

Argos, nearly always have a sale on

Nothing particulary wrong with Samsung over others.
    Asus have great reviews

    good luck

Yeah, samsungs usually have good keyboards and the pricing is comptetive with them too.

More generally, try and go for one with the atom dual core chip(n550 or n555) if you can. That and upgrade the ram to 2gb, they always seem to come with only 1 gb for some reason.

I'd also go for a an 11.6 inch screen as opposed to 10 inch. you're more likely to get a more usable keyboard with an 11.6 inch laptop too. It will be the same weight as a 10 inch but a lot more usable.

I don't think I would go for an Atom based Netbook again. The new AMD Fusion APU's seem to be getting great reviews, with their capability of 1080p playback and great battery performance. Unfortunately there is no word when these new APU's equipped Netbooks will hit Europe and they have only been released in the US. If you can't wait OP, you should look into Dell's M301z with AMD's Dual Core processor.
