Hey everyone I've been thinking about my cao even more since my mocks came back and i'm seriously confused! I know the kind of course I want is something to do with media but I don't know whether to put Journalism and New Media in UL, Communications Studies in DCU or the new Film and Broadcasting in DIT which was media arts or something, down first! At the moment its DIT but i know very little about it! If anyone is doing any of these courses could you tell me a bit about it please I'd really appreciate it, I'm most interested in the radio field but would like to do a course with more choices in it than just that and a broader course on the media. If anyone has any information I'd really appreciate it :)

I'm a first year in film and broadcasing/language and its really good and so far seems to be well rounded.

    Partical subjects wise we do film(including lighting,sound,script writing,camera etc),Photography and sound by itself(sound recording,editing,interviews)

    Theory subjects I've done
    -World Cinema
    -intro to film studies
    -Approaches to media
    -Creative writing
    -Irish media history
    -Gaeilge na Meain
    -Gaeilge scriofa agus labhthra

I love it but some bits are hard in relation to the film theory but I'd really recommend it.

Cool, sounds good is it 50:50 practical and theory or is there a mix? And is there many aspects to working with radio in it?
